Hardwood and flooring services

From bringing back original floors to fitting new ones.

Sanding & refinishing

We sand the floor back to fresh wood and apply a new finish, so it looks and wears like new.

Repairs & board replacement

Damaged or missing boards are repaired or replaced and blended in before refinishing.

Stain & finish options

Keep the natural color or change it. We'll talk through the options at your estimate.

New hardwood installation

Solid and engineered hardwood, installed and finished in your home.

Vinyl plank & laminate

A durable, water-resistant option for kitchens, rentals and busy households.

Tile flooring

Tile floors for bathrooms, kitchens and entryways.

Coastal homes are hard on floors

Sand tracked in from the beach, humid summers and busy rental seasons wear through a finish faster than most homeowners expect.

The good news is that the wood underneath is usually still sound. A proper sand and refinish brings it back, and it costs far less than tearing it out.

How a refinish works

One visit to check the floor, one clear proposal, then the work.

  1. Request an estimate

Send the form or call. Tell us roughly which rooms and what's wrong with the floor.

  2. We look at the floor

Marcos visits, checks the wood and the finish, and tells you honestly whether to refinish or replace.

  3. You get a written proposal

A clear quote, including any repairs and finish options.

  4. We sand and refinish

Your floor is sanded, repaired where needed and finished.

Talk to the owner, not a call center

When you call about your floors, you deal with Marcos. He looks at the wood himself, tells you straight whether it can be saved, and prices the job.

Hardwood questions

Can engineered hardwood be refinished?

Often, yes. It depends on how thick the top wear layer is. Some engineered floors can be sanded once or more; very thin ones can't. We'll check at your estimate.

How many times can solid hardwood be refinished?

Solid hardwood can usually be sanded and refinished several times over its life, depending on how much wood is left above the tongue.

Can you change the color of my floor?

Yes. Because the floor is sanded back to bare wood, a new stain color can usually be applied. We'll go over options with you.

How long does a refinish take?

It depends on the size of the area and the finish you choose. You'll get a timeline with your written proposal.

Do you also install new floors?

Yes. We install hardwood, vinyl plank, laminate and tile.
